The Festa Committee has met and is working hard to make this year's event better than ever. Like last year, the Committee is made up primarily of owners of downtown businesses and restaurants. Anyone interested in joining the Committee, please contact Paddy Steinschneider at arch329@gmail.com.

The Downtown Improvement Committee will also help plan the day. If you are not a business or restaurant owner, but would like to be involved in helping make the event successful, please contact Liz Dreaper at Village Hall at ldreaper@dobbsferry.com and volunteer to help the Downtown Improvement Committee.

Music on the public stage is coordinated by Matt Arone at the Village Recreation Department. If you have a band that would like to perform, please send your information to Matt at dfrec@optonline.net . While there are four stages, the bands selected for the three sponsored by local restaurants are selected by the restaurant owners.

This year, we have had a number of significant sponsors step forward, which promises to make this a great Festa. That said, we are always interested in more sponsors. If you would like to participate as a sponsor, please contact Marcus Serrano at Village Hall at mserrano@dobbsferry.com. We run a number of ads in both print and on the radio and we offer these to our sponsors.

We will have four inflatables again this year, which will be operated by the committees supporting local sports. If you have a committee that supports a local sport and would like to operate one of the inflatables as a fund raising effort, please contact Paddy Steinschneider or Matt Arone.

This year's Festa is scheduled for October 5, 2013, with the event taking place between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Vendors can begin arriving at 11:00 AM. The streets will be closed at 1:00 PM, so vendors arriving after 12:45 PM will have to walk their things to their location. The streets will be reopened at 8:00 PM for vendors only, who must have their area clear by 9:00 PM. Vendors should check the link above "Vendor Information".
